La fotografía para mí es un viaje hacia lo desconocido: un torbellino de emociones que me embarga y me transporta entre recuerdos y sueños, donde pasado y presente se entremezclan dando paso a un proceso reflexivo sobre mis experiencias que me permite conocerme mejor. Pero también es una herramienta que con los años se ha convertido en un ejercicio instintivo de autoanálisis, una técnica de meditación y un viaje que me invita a estar inmerso en las emociones más profundas. Para mí, ser fotógrafo es como ser explorador, cada imagen es una búsqueda constante de mi realidad, una delgada línea que conecta el alma y el espíritu y propicia un lugar desde el que puedo cuestionarme.
La nostalgia y la soledad son elementos recurrentes en mi fotografía. Cada imagen forma parte de un gran rompecabezas, una historia de vida; al mismo tiempo, cada imagen completa su narrativa a través de los reflejos de emociones y recuerdos, en torno a lugares de la infancia y a través de los rostros de personas que conocí en el camino. La fotografía es como un espejo, que me permite mirarme por dentro y, al mismo tiempo, interactuar con el resto del mundo con curiosidad, libertad y empatía , a través de formas, colores, luces y perspectivas. Para mí, la fotografía es la mejor manera de investigar, pero sobre todo de conocer quiénes somos realmente.

Photography, for me, is a journey into the unknown: a whirlwind of emotions that overwhelms me and transports me between memories and dreams, where past and present intermingle, giving way to a reflective process about my experiences that allows me to know myself better. But it is also a tool that, over the years, has become an instinctive exercise of self-analysis, a meditation technique and a journey that invites me to be immersed in the most profound emotions. Being a photographer is like being an explorer; each image is a constant search for my reality, a thin line that connects the soul and the spirit and provides a place from which I can question myself.
Nostalgia and loneliness are recurring elements in my photography. Each image is part of a big puzzle, a life story; at the same time, each image completes its narrative through the reflections of emotions and memories around childhood places and through the faces of people I met along the way. Photography is like a mirror, allowing me to look inside myself and, at the same time, to interact with the rest of the world with curiosity, freedom and empathy through shapes, colours, lights and perspectives. For me, photography is the best way to investigate, but above all, to get to know who we are.
Vivimos en un momento delicado en el que nuestra relación con el medio ambiente está comprometida por una serie de recuerdos nostálgicos y el destino trágico de la verdad contemporánea. Mi investigación fotográfica, a través de retratos y paisajes, quiere profundizar en esta relación espacio-temporal entre el ser humano y la naturaleza, algo que siento inseparable de la conciencia emocional del espíritu.
El juego de valores cromáticos, que consigo mediante técnicas analógicas, busca sumar pureza y armonía en la composición. Las imágenes se conforman a través de un cuidadoso uso de la luz y una tranquila elegancia de las formas, lo que da como resultado que los temas queden suspendidos en una dimensión romántica que otorga intemporalidad a esta serie de retratos y paisajes. A la vez lejana y familiar, la quietud de mis obras busca recordarnos quiénes somos y quiénes fuimos. Para lograrlo me detengo en la tensión psicológica de los espacios vacíos y los rostros ajenos, capaces de unir el pasado y el presente en una representación onírica de un mundo que se encuentra a caballo entre el mito y la realidad.

We live in a delicate moment in which our relationship with the environment is compromised by a series of nostalgic memories and the tragic fate of contemporary truth. My photographic research, through portraits and landscapes, aims to deepen this spatio-temporal relationship between human beings and nature, which is inseparable from the emotional awareness of the spirit.
The play of chromatic values, which I achieve through analogue techniques, seeks to add purity and harmony to the composition. The pictures are shaped through careful use of light and a quiet elegance of form, which results in the subjects being suspended in a romantic dimension that lends a timelessness to this series of portraits and landscapes. At once distant and familiar, the stillness of my works seeks to remind us of who we are and who we were. To achieve this, I dwell on the psychological tension of empty spaces and alien faces, capable of uniting past and present in a dreamlike representation of a world that straddles myth and reality.
