¿Qué es Audioteca fotográfica?
Vivimos un momento en el que las imágenes se consumen, pero no se interiorizan. La falta de tiempo nos fuerza a lo inmediato, obligándonos a pasar por encima de ellas, lo que nos lleva a no comprender más que un nivel de lo que vemos. Las fotografías forman parte de nuestra cultura, cuentan una historia y transmiten un mensaje que muchos no consiguen descifrar. Este proyecto pretende aportar las claves para que la sociedad conecte con la fotografía.
Audioteca fotográfica es un archivo sonoro centrado en las imágenes y las reflexiones de los fotógrafos. Un punto de encuentro donde cualquier persona puede descubrir nuevos nombres o recordar aquellos que ya forman parte de la historia. La escucha provoca que el espectador se detenga a contemplar y se adentre en las imágenes con la calma que requiere el acto de mirar. Cada texto recogido en este archivo es una llave para acceder a las imágenes, permitiendo una intimidad que vincula la obra con la búsqueda personal y vital de cada fotógrafo.

What is Audioteca Fotográfica?
In today's fast-paced world, we tend to consume pictures without taking the time to truly understand them. Our busy schedules force us to focus on the present moment, causing us to miss out on the deeper meanings behind the images we see. However, photographs hold immense cultural value as they tell stories and convey powerful messages that often go unnoticed. The purpose of this project is to help society connect with photography by providing the necessary tools to interpret them.
The Audioteca Fotográfica is a platform that features a sound archive dedicated to photographers' pictures and reflections. It serves as a meeting place where anyone can discover new artists and revisit significant moments in history. By listening to the archive, viewers can take a moment to contemplate and immerse themselves in the images with the serenity that the act of observing requires. Each text collected in this archive serves as a key to unlock the images' hidden meanings, bridging the gap between the viewer and the photographer's personal and meaningful search.
¿Cómo interactuar con el archivo?
La web de Audioteca fotográfica nace con la intención de generar contenido de calidad que esté accesible de forma fácil e intuitiva. El proyecto inicialmente comenzó en dos plataformas: Instagram y Patreon. La primera es una ventana para las imágenes y la segunda una habitación para la escucha, esta última se encuentra abierta para todos aquellos que se hacen mecenas del proyecto, el precio es simbólico (3 Euros) y ayuda al mantenimiento y evolución del archivo: los audios, así como enlaces a entrevistas, documentales o cualquier otro material de interés están alojados en esta plataforma que busca enriquecer nuestra percepción sobre el trabajo de un determinado fotógrafo.

How to interact with the archive?
The Audioteca Fotográfica website was created to generate quality content that is accessible easily and intuitively. The project initially started on two platforms: Instagram and Patreon. The first is a window for the pictures, and the second a room for listening; the latter is open to all those who become patrons of the project; the price is symbolic (3 Euros) and helps the maintenance and evolution of the archive: the audios, as well as links to interviews, documentaries or any other material of interest, are hosted on this platform that seeks to enrich our perception of the work of a particular photographer.

Este proyecto está dirigido a todo aquel que tenga intereses culturales. Los contenidos están concebidos y seleccionados para generar interés sin descuidar la calidad. No se necesitan conocimientos previos de cultura fotográfica. Este archivo pretende despertar la curiosidad a la vez que ofrece un lugar de consulta y encuentro entre la sociedad y la fotografía. Los textos que se incluyen son accesibles y cercanos, por lo que cualquier persona que sienta curiosidad se sentirá fácilmente interesada por lo que alberga este archivo.

It is not a promotional project but a dissemination project; the quality counts, given that it intends to be a reference tool that facilitates discovery and access to photographic visions.
¿De dónde proviene la información recogida en este archivo?
Existen dos vías: la primera es aquella información que proviene de la investigación y la segunda la que proviene de la interacción con los propios fotógrafos. Siempre se intenta contactar con los fotógrafos para solicitar su permiso y participación. En el caso en el que no sea posible comunicarse con ellos, se hace uso de material recogido en entrevistas, libros, conferencias o documentales, las fotografías por tanto se obtienen de Internet, citándose en todos los casos la autoría de las obras y los textos.

Where does the information collected in this archive come from?
There are two ways: the first is information from research, and the second is information from interaction with the photographers themselves. We always try contacting the photographers for their permission and participation. In cases where it is impossible to get them, we use material gathered from interviews, books, conferences or documentaries; the photographs are obtained from the Internet, citing the authorship of the works and texts in all cases.
